Cady R. Monasmith – BFA, LPC

Clinical Supervisor for PHP

As the clinical supervisor for Tower Behavioral Health’s Partial Hospitalization Program, Cady Monasmith provides group therapy and clinical education to young adults through older adult clients. Cady integrates expressive arts and evidence-based therapeutic practices. Cady emphasizes change and choice through dance and therapeutic practices, awakening the conscious, and exploring the past to bridge clients’ experiences to their present selves. Cady has helped her clients reconnect to their authentic selves by finding compassion, self-acceptance, and a sense of freedom and inner strength. This connection reintegrates the physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual aspects into the client’s new narrative.

Cady has presented nationally on the topic of mindfulness and dance as beneficial modalities for the older adult population, ranging from addiction disorders to mental health recovery and resiliency.

Cady has a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Counseling from Alvernia University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Performance from Temple University. Cady is a licensed clinician in Pennsylvania.

With all her spare time, Cady dances professionally with JCWK Dance Lab, investigating the ways dance can be a vehicle for non-violent, positive social change by creating Joy, Connection, and Wellness through Kinesthetic stories.
